What is ReadiGolf?
ReadiGolf is an iPhone app that helps golf groups organize play dates, track scores, run live leaderboards, settle bets, and manage side games like Junk/Dots.
Is ReadiGolf free?
ReadiGolf offers a free tier. Check the App Store for current pricing and subscription options.
Do I need an iPhone to use ReadiGolf?
ReadiGolf is an iOS app. Golfers without iPhones can be added as sponsored players so someone else can enter their scores and they can still receive emails.
How do I create an account?
Download the app, register with your email or Sign in with Apple, verify your address, and you are ready to start.
Play Groups & Players
What is a Play Group?
A Play Group is your golf crew: Saturday regulars, travel buddies, or an office league. Each group has its own players, courses, play dates, and history.
Can I be in multiple Play Groups?
Yes. You can belong to several Play Groups, each with different players and courses.
What is a sponsored player?
A sponsored player is someone in your group who does not use the app. They still appear on scorecards, leaderboards, reports, and emails.
How do I add players to my group?
Use Friend Invitations for iPhone users. For Android or non-app players, use Players from the menu and create a player record for each person.
Courses, Handicaps & Play Dates
How many courses does ReadiGolf support?
ReadiGolf connects to a database of 18,000+ courses. Par, slope, rating, and hole handicaps can auto-fill for scorecards.
What if my course is not listed?
You can add a custom course manually with hole pars, handicaps, slope, and rating.
Does ReadiGolf use the World Handicap System?
Yes. ReadiGolf uses WHS logic for course handicaps and net scores.
What is a Play Date?
A Play Date is a scheduled round with a specific date, course, player list, tee times, and configured games.
Scoring, Betting & Reports
When does the leaderboard update?
As soon as scores are entered. Everyone viewing the play date can follow the round in real time.
What betting games does ReadiGolf support?
Nassau, Skins, Stableford, Medal Play, Nines, Quota, Stand Your Ground, and side games such as Junk/Dots.
How do I settle bets after a round?
Run the Money Winners report. It shows who owes whom across bet types and can be copied or shared.
What are AI Game Day Summaries?
AI-generated pre-game and post-game recaps based on play date and leaderboard data. You can choose the tone and perspective.
Troubleshooting
My round is not showing on the leaderboard.
Check that the round is tied to the correct play date and course, and confirm the required holes have scores entered.
My handicap looks wrong.
Verify your Handicap Index in your profile and confirm the right tee set, slope, and rating are selected for the course.
I did not get an email.
Check spam, confirm your email address, and make sure the commissioner enabled that notification type for the play date.
