Adding Players
Add friends with the app or create sponsored profiles for those without iPhones.
It’s important to understand the two kinds of users in ReadiGolf. There are those with iPhones who will download and use the app, and those without iPhones (or without interest in downloading it). This distinction matters as you add users to your golf groups.
Two Ways to Add Players
If the person you want to add has an iPhone, have them download the app, register for an account, and then send each other a Friend Invitation. This is the best way to add users.
Sponsored Players
If a player doesn’t have an iPhone or isn’t interested in downloading the app, add them using the Players menu option. These “sponsored players” support all the same attributes — email address, handicap index — and can be added to Play Groups and Play Dates just like app users. They’ll receive emails about starting times, teams, and pairings.
